What is Bootcamp?

 

Bootcamp is just a name - what we'll be doing is group exercise outdoors in a park.  No yelling, no pushing beyond limits, just a motivating, fun and results oriented workout. 

Doesn't the gym get a little boring sometimes?  It's nice to change up the routine and challenge your body in different ways.  It's also great to have other people around to motivate you and laugh with you.

Bootcamp sessions will consist of cardiovascular exercise, body weight exercises for functional training, calisthenics, mat work and flexibility training.  In other words, an overall body program that will leave you pumped for the next class!

What you need to know

  • Each bootcamp is four weeks in length and we meet twice per week.  It's recommended that you do a minimum
    of eight weeks to achieve significant results, therefore two bootcamps back to back.
  • A minimum monetary committment of four sessions is required upfront.  This is to ensure your committment to the
    programme.
  • You will need a mat, one or two bottles of water and a sweat towel.  A yoga mat is recommended as they are
    affordable and roll up easily for travel.
  • Nutrition will be a big part of your success, therefore there will be ongoing discussion throughout each bootcamp
    around nutrition.
